Day 1: Cusco/Puno – The Route of the Sun
Embark on a comfortable tour bus and go through beautiful Andean landscapes up to the city of Puno in the Highlands. On the way, you will see several touristic attractions such as Iglesia San Pedro de Andahuaylillas (Saint Peter of Andahuaylillas Church), also known as the Sistine Chapel of America; the archaeological center of Raqch’i, an enormous building in honor of God Wiracocha. The bus will stop for lunch at Sicuani village before continuing to La Raya, the village at the highest point on the route (14,223 feet). Here you can enjoy few minutes to admire the landscape and take some photos before continuing to Pukara, the last stop on route for a guided visit of the museum that shelters archaeological remains of the Andean cultures who lived on the high plateau. At your arrival assistance, and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Puno/Uros and Taquile Islands -Titicaca Lake/Puno
Sail the waters of Lake Titicaca. Early in the morning, you will start an excursion to the highest lake in the world (12,500 feet). The tour includes a visit to Uros Island where you can go by comfortable motor boats. Uros is part of Aymara ethnic family of islands that live on artificial islands made of Totora (floating reed). From here you can reach Taquile Island, gifted with several hills and harboring archaeological sites, the island’s main activity are textiles (manual work of art) representing scenes of everyday life. You will have lunch at a nearby local place. Transfer back to Puno city.

Day 3: Puno/Copacabana/Sun Island/Copacabana/Puno
Continue the adventure enjoying a beautiful day of sailing on Lake Titicaca.
We road to the Sanctuary of Copacabana to board the Catamaran Cruise, here we begin sailing towards the Island of the Sun, the cradle of the Inca Empire; in this legendary island, we will visit the Garden, the Stairs, and the Inca Fountain.
Next, we visit the Inti Wata Complex, where we will be able to navigate aboard a typical reed boat to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view.
Then, we board again the catamaran to return to Copacabana; on the way, you will taste a delicious lunch. Finally, we descend from cruise to be transferred back to our hotel in Puno.
